A Letter from our Director 23rd March 2020
Dear Customers, Makers, and followers
So, it has come to this. Had no idea just how quiet it would get in the City of Exeter, and Town of Taunton. John Lewis closing its doors in Exeter at the end of trading tomorrow Monday 23rd March just really forced our hand. Without our lovely customers to interact with the stores are so flat. No fun for the staff.
So. The last day of trading for us in both stores until this catastrophe is over, will be close of business Tuesday 24th March. Please ensure you contact us to arrange collection of any items of jewellery we are holding on your behalf. If you don’t manage this please be reassured it will be held in our locked safe’s and premises until you are able to do so in the future.
It would be best from Wednesday onward to contact us by e mail. A member of staff in both stores has the work computer. We will monitor and dispatch whilst possible any online purchases you may make. Remember to watch as we will continue to add new lines every week. And Malcolm Morris the Jeweller who was to be in the Exeter gallery on Friday 27th March, with all his beautiful work and statement pieces will instead have it all for sale on our website, so you can buy it online. We also have a competition you can enter, to win a beautiful Malcolm Apple Blossom pendant.
He is such a good friend and wonderful personality. We hope to rerun this Exhibition later in the year.
Keep you all posted.
Julia and staff look forward to seeing you all again as soon as we possibly can.
