Sophie graduated with an MA from the Royal College Of Art in 1989 and instantly made her mark in the world of jewellery design. An intriguing and eclectic mix of symbol and motifs are at the core of Sophie’s work; wings, hearts, animals and crosses are layered and overlapping to create jewellery with a message and a meaning. The charm necklaces and bracelets bear sings of Sophie’s strongest inspirations: ancient forms and implements, philosophy and story- telling.
Although Sophie’s work has evolved over the past decade, its identity is as strong as ever. Its distinctive, multi-cultural influences give it a unique look, which has stood the test of time.
Sophie has had much acclaim with the recent release of the James Bond film for which she was commissioned to create the Algerian love knot necklace and earrings worn by Eva Green. Jewellery is cast and handmade in London and is made from sterling sliver (with gold plate), 18ct gold or platinum.
