Alex Monroe established his London studios in 1987 and his work now sells throughout Asia, Europe and America. Alongside his latest collections of jewellery, Alex designs for industry, film and television. Alex’s work is delicate, pretty and English in style.
Alex’s love for gardening and the simple beauty of nature is apparent, with little roses and wildflowers being recurrent motifs. It is essentially a sentimental, tongue-in-cheek look at Englishness.
Alex says about his work “The most important thing is to maintain quality at all times. Although I am interested in fashion I hope that I am using a design language that defies time”.
