Whilst studying jewellery in 1980 at the prestigious ‘Sir John Cass’ London, Poppy sold work through Liberty in Regent Street.
In 1982 he returned to India setting up a workshop combining traditional and modern techniques.
1986 saw Poppy set up India’s first jewellery making school to pass on his knowledge of the trade.
Poppy’s designs have an organic sculptural quality, incorporating his Indian heritage with a dynamic appreciation of the West, and involving several techniques that he has created and that are unique to him.Poppy makes Necklaces, Bracelets, Earrings, Ring
