Was born in Copenhagen in 1968 and undertook a 4-year jewellery apprenticeship in 1993, she graduated from London Guildhall University in 1999. She has travelled, worked and exhibited extensively overseas, from Kathmandu to San Francisco.
She now lives and works in London. Her collection uses themes of ‘repetition’, ‘interaction’ and ‘movement’; each piece has a basis in simple geometrical shapes, which she then endorses with texture and tactility. Silver is annealed to look white, or scratched as if not yet ready for public appearance.
Her pieces are designed to interact with their wearer, through intricate links and mechanisms as well as through surface change. With wear each piece will reveal the shiny metal surface where it has connected and interacted with the wearer.
